Fall has arrived at the Soundbridge window! Walk by Benaroya if you are in downtown Seattle to enjoy a taste of the the season. Listen carefully and you can hear the music. :)
Fun with logo design for a friend's painting company.
If you are in the Seattle area and you need someone to come paint your house (inside or outside), let me know and I can connect you!
I recently happened upon an interesting salvaged art challenge: Second Use Building Materials (a salvaged materials building supply store in Seattle) is hosting an art and design competition. The challenge was to make something from a tropical knee brace (see below).
I put three of these together to make a horse and rider and covered them with an "armor" of recycled materials. A coat of spray paint helped to make that armor a little shinier. It was a fun challenge to work a little bigger than I've been in the habit of working.
If you're in Seattle and want to visit him, he'll be on display at Second Use's fall fest, this Saturday, September 20th. There should be some other fun activities happening there as well.

9.22.14: Update! Lancelot received an honorable mention from the contest judges.
The Seattle Times is hosting a newsprint art contest, so I submitted Greensleeves. You can find it in their 2014 gallery here:
If you have trouble viewing it through that site, you can always see it on here:
